For those who wonder what canus means:
canus, a, um, adj. [Sanscr. Kas-, to shine; cf. cascus]
1. white, hoary (mostly poet.);
2. Esp.freq. of the gray hair of the aged;
3. Transf., of age and of aged persons. old, aged: senectus, hoary.
I got this nickname from a dear friend of mine. My friend thought it was funny due to the fact that my hare is turning gray. In my own humble opinion at an alarming speed.
